Heavy Equipment Mechanic Shop & Road Positions Available

 

Looking for a position as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work on Construction and Landscaping Equipment? We are currently looking for dependable, professional experienced mechanics with strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Experienced in Diesel Engines, Hydraulics & Electrical System diagnostics. You will be working on the industry Leaders such as Kubota Construction & Turf, New Holland Agriculture, New Holland Construction, Bandit Industries, Toro Commercial Landscaping Equipment, Mahindra Agriculture Tractors.

 
Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible but not limited to:

 

  • Repair, perform recommended maintenance, and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on light construction, tree & stump grinding equipment, commercial lawn equipment, as well as other equipment that we sell and service.
  • Work directly with the Service Manager and Service Writers to communicate warranty and/or customer pay work completed and repairs or maintenance suggested to the customer
  • Participation in product presentations at customer clinics, in-house events as well as an occasional event held away from the dealership to teach and explain general maintenance and preventative care for machines
  • Complete continuous training requirements whether web courses or Instructor Led Courses in-house or at manufacturer locations in order to maintain our Premier Service Excellence Certifications with multiple manufacturers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
 
Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of experience in repairing, servicing, diagnostics and troubleshooting all types of equipment is a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in diagnostics and repairs of agricultural tractors, light construction equipment, commercial turf equipment and other related equipment to our industry and customer base
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Technical or trade school training with certifications of accomplishments is a plus
  • Possess an appropriate tool set for heavy equipment
  • Welding and fabrication is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a physical to meet our safety standards, a pre-employment drug screening, and a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license is required, does not have to be CDL
  • Available to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Equipment Assemblers & Yard Personnel

 

This is a where it all begins in the cycle of owning a piece of equipment. Upon receiving equipment such as chain saws, weed trimmers, backpack blowers, and other larger equipment delivered freight to our dealership, some assembly is required prior to customer purchasing said equipment. We have been honored by our manufactures with distinguished awards and it is largely do to paying Strict attention to detail from beginning of the sale to the delivery of the unit.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible but not limited to:

 

  • Be thorough in inspecting equipment when it comes in and fill-out necessary paperwork and invoice the customer prior to customer taking delivery of unit
  • Work directly with the Sales Team to ensure equipment is assembled properly prior to being put on our display or delivered to a customer
  • Complete continuous training requirements whether web courses or Instructor Led Courses in-house or at manufacturer locations in order to maintain our Premier Service Excellence Certifications with multiple manufacturers
  • Participation in product presentations at customer clinics, in-house events as well as an occasional event held away from the dealership to teach and explain general maintenance and preventative care for machines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Provide support to Service and Parts Department personal including Loading and Unloading Freight Truck Deliveries and Pick-Ups
 
Requirements

 

  • Organize equipment in the yard including starting and moving units to cycle fluids and/or clear Diesel Particulate Filter System
  • Bring to the owner's attention anything on the property that does not seem in place or that may cause damage and/or be a risk factor
  • High School Diploma, Technical School Equivalent, or G.E.D.
  • Technical or trade school training with certifications of accomplishments is a plus
  • Possess an appropriate tool set for heavy equipment
  • Welding and fabrication is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a physical to meet OSHA safety standards, a pre-employment drug screening, and a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license is not required, however, you will not be able to operate company vehicles
  • Available to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Occasionally you may asked to work a Saturday morning to prepare for a field day or special event.

Master Equipment Mechanic

 

A Master Equipment Mechanic at Security Equipment Company is experienced with Hydraulic, Engine, Chassis, Computer Diagnostics & Troubleshooting as well as tentative and on-time. As our industry has progressed into Tier IV Final emissions and converted from the old diesel powerhouses manufacturers have also introduced big gas engines on their equipment. Although the majority of tool sets have not changed, we now rely heavily on Electronic Service Tools or E.S.T.'s as we refer to them in the industry.

Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible but not limited to:

 

  • Be thorough in inspecting equipment when it comes into shop and fill-out necessary paperwork when inspecting the unit and addressing the customer
  • Work directly with the Service Manager to ensure he is up-to-date on the status of repairs and suggested maintenance/repairs outside of customers original complaint equipment
  • Report any incidentals and/or supplemental repairs
  • Keep an organized work space with all warranty parts tagged and bagged for when the manufacturer asks for the audit
  • Return all warranty parts to the warranty shed with proper labels and work
  • Although we supply the majority of Special Service Tools, we ask that you return them in the same condition you received them
  • Complete continuous training requirements whether web courses or Instructor Led Courses in-house or at manufacturer locations in order to maintain our multiple Service Excellence standings with our major Manufacturers
  • Participation in product presentations at customer clinics, in-house events as well as an occasional event held away from the dealership to teach and explain general maintenance and preventative care for machines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
  • Provide support to your co-workers in a work-friendly atmosphere.
 
Requirements

 

  • 5 plus years in the Equipment Industry working on Engine, Hydraulics, attachments, implements and other types of equipment
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repairs, maintenance of equipment mentioned above
  • High School Diploma, Technical School Equivalent, or G.E.D.
  • Technical or trade school training with certifications of accomplishments is a plus
  • Possess an appropriate tool set for heavy equipment
  • Welding and slight fabrication is preferred
  • To qualify for Sign-On-Bonus, you must complete the written exam with a minimum of 89% correct
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a physical to meet OSHA safety standards, a pre-employment drug screening, and a criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license is not required, however, you will not be able to operate company vehicles
  • Available to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Occasionally you may asked to work a Saturday morning to prepare for a field day or special event
